The ergonomics of the Viva Flex start with an extremely sturdy plastic body in an S-shape, with dual-plane flexibility. This allows weight to be evenly distributed across the collarbone; this design significantly reduces fatigue, especially under grueling practice or performance conditions.

I much prefer this shoulder rest
I played Kun for years but this is much more adjustable and actually says attached to my violin. Adjusting it isn't the most intuitive but basically you loosen it and move it around and find where you like it the best. It's adjustable in ways most shoulder rests aren't. It doesn't fold up but it's a trade off with how comfortable and stable it is.
Good shoulder rest!
I have used this rest for several years, it is comfortable and very adjustable to fit the player. The plastic its made of is semi flexible for a great fit and secure hold. The only reason its 4 stars not 5, is that it seems to have a weak spot in the middle. I've broken 2 of them in half after about 3 yrs of regular use apiece. They just snap in half while I'm playing. They last long enough before breaking though, that I will keep buying. Overall this is my favorite rest. Very nice.
