The 540J set pairs the Savarez Classic basses with Alliance carbon fiber composite trebles. The Classic basses are fairly stiff and fast, with rich projection. Alliance trebles offer a similar elasticity and density to that of gut strings, with very long life and a smooth feel, which reduces left hand noise.
