I have been using Pop's Bass Rosin for 6 years now, and I feel I'll be using it for a long time yet. This rosin lasts a very long time, though when you're not using it you must keep it stored in the container, or it will melt. Pop's is used by students and professionals. I feel Pop's Rosin gives your playing some extra power, but when applied correctly, can also make your playing feel very smooth. It's a very versatile rosin, and I'd recommend it for those who have mixed play styles and want something affordable, but good.
