Lee, Sebastian - 40 Easy Etudes for Violoncello, Opus 70 For one or two cellos URTEXT Published by Barenreiter
Sebastian Lee, a cellist and composer in the early 1800s, is not well known considering the large number of compositions for cello he published during his lifetime. Of all his work, only his etudes, which he published collections of at every difficulty level, remain known today. His Opus 70 etudes are known for their beauty, something not often said about short etudes, as well as their educational value. A second cello part is also included with these etudes, intended for teacher accompaniment.
Edited by Martin Rummel, for one or two cellos. Includes preface and editorial notes. URTEXT. Published by Barenreiter.
